About these terms

This online store is operated by Derevo Designs (Derevo) in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada, and is hosted on Shopify. These terms describe the conditions for using our website and purchasing from us. Please read them together with our shipping, return and refund, and privacy policies before placing an order.

Using our store

Please provide accurate contact, billing and delivery information and use a payment method you are authorized to use. You must be legally able to enter into a purchase agreement, or have the involvement and authorization of a parent or legal guardian. You may not use this website for unlawful or fraudulent purposes, interfere with its operation, or attempt to access information that does not belong to you.

Products and natural materials

Our products are described on their individual listing pages, including the materials, dimensions and accessories included. Wood grain, colour and burl patterns naturally vary, and screen settings can affect how colours appear. Where a listing identifies a piece as one of a kind and states that you receive the item pictured, that is the piece being offered. For made-to-order products, the listing photographs illustrate the design and natural variations may occur. These characteristics do not reduce your rights if an item is defective or does not match its description.

Personalized and custom orders

Please check names, dates, spelling and other personalization details carefully before submitting them. For custom projects, the design, price and any different preparation timeline will be agreed with you before you place the order. Contact us promptly if you need to request a change; whether it can be made depends on the stage of production. Personalized items are excluded from change-of-mind returns, as explained in our return and refund policy. Defective, damaged or incorrect items are handled separately.

Prices, payment and availability

The currency, product prices, applicable taxes and shipping charges for your order are displayed before you complete checkout. Please review the total before paying. Products are subject to availability, and one-of-a-kind pieces have limited stock. Prices and availability may change for future orders.

If an availability issue or a material listing or pricing error affects an order you have placed, we will contact you to explain the issue and discuss a correction or cancellation. We will not charge an increased amount without your agreement. If we cannot fulfil an order and cancel it, any payment collected for the cancelled items and associated unfulfilled shipping will be refunded.

Shipping and delivery

Our listed products, including made-to-order game boards, ship within 3 business days after the order is placed. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. A different preparation time for a custom project will be agreed before ordering. Preparation time is separate from carrier delivery time. Available destinations, services and charges are shown at checkout. Please see our shipping policy for delivery estimates and help with delayed, missing or damaged parcels.

Returns and refunds

You may request a return of an eligible, non-personalized item within 14 calendar days after delivery. Items must be new and unused, in the same condition in which they left our care, with all included accessories. Contact us for approval before sending anything back, and mail an approved return within 7 calendar days after approval.

For change-of-mind returns, the buyer pays return postage and original shipping charges are non-refundable. There is no restocking fee. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days after inspection. Personalized items are excluded from change-of-mind returns. Privacy and website content

Our privacy policy explains how personal information is collected and used. Derevo branding, original photographs, written content and designs remain the property of their respective owners. Please obtain permission before reproducing our original content or designs for commercial use.

Your rights and changes to these terms

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. These terms are governed by the laws of Saskatchewan and the applicable laws of Canada, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live.

We may update these terms by publishing a revised version on this page. Updates apply to future use and purchases; they do not retroactively change the terms of an order already placed.
