We’re Sean and Lindsay, the people behind Derevo. Our small woodworking business is based in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. A wedding project in 2016 became a love of making things for other people.
A reason to
make things.
Sean first found woodworking in high school. Years later, making a card box for our wedding brought him back to it. One project became another, and a love of wood with character became Derevo.
Today, we work with domestic hardwoods and distinctive woods from farther afield. The grain, colour and shape of a piece often suggest what it could become.
Cribbage boards sit at the heart of our work, alongside other wooden games, gifts and custom projects. We use modern tools and hands-on finishing to make pieces that feel good to give, use and keep.
What we want most is simple: more time around a table with people you enjoy.
